Harper, Pamela
Seaford resident Pamela Harper is the 1991 winner of the Horticultural Writing Award from the American Horticultural Society. Her photo-illustrated gardening books include "Time-Tested Plants" and "Designing with Perennials." She left her native England for Seaford in 1968, where she was to discover the hybrid "Seaford Skies Bluestar" in her own two-acre garden.
